150 years of creating and shaping history.150 years of bringing about a social transformation When the name Anjuman-I-Islam is heard the one thing that predominantly comes in mind is the educational institute that not only inspires but also empowers without discrimination. The stoic structure of the colonial era blended with the modern architecture gives a silent testimony to numerous events which shaped history by bringing about social changes, time and again, using education as its instrument for empowerment. With a vision to cater to the educational needs of the community, it has built its infrastructure to encourage students from all strata of the society to reach their full potential. An institution with a powerful alumnus which include thespian Dilip Kumar, Kader Khan (actor-writer), Ismail Merchant (producer-director), Salim Durrani. Ghulam Parkar, Wasim Jaffer (Cricketers), Dr. A. R. Undre, Dr. M. A. Patankar, politician like Barrister A. R. Antulay and Adv. Majeed Memon, we can see that the institution has not confined itself to any single stream of education. A firm believer in the adage variety is the spice of life and be the change you seek Anjuman-I-Islam has extended their expertise to establish a variety of educational institutions including colleges for women, thus encouraging and empowering them. A heartiest congratulations to the phenomenal institute devoted to inspiring students, faculty and the community at large and heartfelt wishes for success in its future endeavours. May it keep instilling hope in us and inspiring us always.
